2023 Xerascaping Update: Colorado SB 23-178

2023 Xerascaping Update: Colorado SB 23-178

In 2023 the Colorado legislature passed a new law supporting additional xerascaping guidelines.

In support of SB 23-178, the Tallyn’s Reach Master Association has pre-approved 4 designs that can be used by homeowners without requiring a review by the architecture review committee. Please see the pre-approved designs below. Note that you are not limited to these, and may submit alternate designs to the committee for review at any time, following the normal review process.

Also, please note that submitting an architecture request document is still mandatory and required, to ensure that records of current and past work are documented. No fee will be charged for submitting an ARC request for one of these 4 designs, as long as it is the only item in the request, and the submission will be approved without the usual review.  Homeowners should include information on which design will be utilized, where it will be installed, and the expected completion dates, etc. as usual.
